Stuck Deciding on a Creative Outlet
For the longest time now, I've wanted to try creating art more frequently. Just as I dedicate time in the day towards physical exercise, I feel it's important to set time aside specifically for taking part in a creative outlet. I spend time everyday appreciating the art that others have made, and I want to take part in that experience as well. However, with so many different art mediums that catch my eye, I've been stuck in choosing which one I should dedicate myself to for an indefinite amount of time. From sketching, to 3D, to digital, and even something like sewing or crochet, it feels like my passions jump between one or more every few days, and I end up progressing in none.
With September coming to a close, I've decided I'll start the new month with a challenge: Pick one art medium and dedicate time every day either to studying or practicing this medium, and after one month see how you feel. Whichever one you gravitate towards at this moment, pick that one. In this case, it's 3D art. Wish me luck as I enter the wide sea of Blender tutorials in my search for the art medium that speaks to me.
